What is Deployment?
Deployments are carried out by the Canadian Forces to help to provide security and stability to various locations around the world. Deployments can take place in Canada or abroad.
Combat
The Canadian Forces put the utmost time and effort into training and preparing its members to cope with and succeed in all military environments, including combat. All members are provided with advanced equipment and weaponry to ensure they are capable of overcoming the challenges of their mission.
Length of Deployment
Depending on the mission, deployments can last from a few weeks to over a year. Generally, most deployments last between six to twelve months.
